Take a moment to rest.

⁣ Is your calendar so full that you never have time to wind down? ⁣

Maxed out schedules are true for many of us. Our bodies are designed to do challenging things but let us not forget they are also designed for rest. ⁣

Helping clients find time in their schedules to unwind is pretty much my second favorite part of my job. Because just like their workouts are personalized the way each of them likes to unwind and prepare for rest is unique to them.⁣

For some of my clients it is a hot bath after the children go to bed, others it is a favorite show or book, and the list continues. ⁣

My personal mid-day reset is unplugging for about 10-20 minutes and diving into a lighthearted fictional book. And my evening favorite is calming music with some static stretches. ⁣
